Kansas man seriously injured in Missouri wreck

OREGON, Mo. - The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating a Holt County wreck that seriously injured a Kansas man.

The Patrol says 59-year-old Charles Lampshire, of Wathena, was driving a 2016 freight, which was pulling a grain trailer, on 59 Highway, three miles east of Oregon.

Officials say at 1:25 p.m. Tuesday, the freight skid, went off the road several times before overturning. The crash blocked both lanes of the highway.

It's unclear if Lampshire was wearing a seatbelt. He was taken to Mosaic by Life-flight.
